WARGAMING YOUR EVENT HORIZON

                                     Understand The Difference

On Saturday, I spoke to a small group of people [20-30] about trading and how to get started, what to do, etc. During an afternoon break, I had a lovely couple approach me and ask if they could speak to me privately after the function was over. Of course I said sure thing, but wait until everyone else was finished asking questions and then be the last ones left; this would allow time for me to be thorough with whatever they wanted to talk about.

Later, after making personal introductions, the mans wife cut right to the chase; “We are afraid to trade; markets scare us to death; the uncertainty surrounding the whole process seems daunting and we can’t get our arms around it; and finally, we don’t know who to trust.

[I’m thinking to myself, “Well, is this all? Need vitamin advice? How about astrological advice or winning lottery numbers?” Of course I’m just kidding here, but the ease and straightforwardness of her request, along with her implied assumption I can answer this, gives me wonder if I am slowly turning into Bert. If only my Parents and/or Grandparents could see this, they would die all over again; “Wha? You want advice from who? He can’t even mow the lawn right!”].

I know many of you are afraid to trade FX; just like this woman, your fears outweigh your ability to act. The excuses and hurdles are high, and your comfort zone in mediocrity is like an invisible ball and chain around your neck.

Ohhhhhhhh, I’ve seen this phenomenon all my life. Commuting out of the city for 10 years every day for an hour, you get to know all the business types heading home to the burbs a little early. Every day they want to know how much I made; every day after I tell them, they tell me how much they a) hate their boss, b) hate the company they work for, c) hate their career path, and of course d) hate their life in general.

“OK, I say, “Quit your job, lease a membership, and come stand next to me in the pit and just follow me”.

“Hahahahaha, listen to this guy; yea right, my wife would first kill me, and then divorce me. You’re funny Barry, telling me to just do this. Hey guys, I can make $5K a day… Ha hahaha.

“OK, I say, “Then stop asking me how much I made and then shut the hell up and stop bitching about your life. You make your bed and then sleep in it.”

Amazingly ……. Suddenly nobody is laughing or talking anymore.

Fear is something that only exists in your head. What is fear to you is opportunity for others. Fear doesn’t exist outside your head, and has no basis in the universe.

Danger, on the other hand, exists and is real. Stand on a mountain cliff 3.000 feet above the next step, and it doesn’t make any difference how many college degrees you have, how old or young you are, whether you believe in President Goebbels “Hopey Changy” BS, or if the sun is shining or it’s cloudy, take another step forward and you will be dead in short order. You simply take the necessary actions to avoid the danger, or you suffer the consequences of ignoring it.

Following the trading algorithms will solve both fear and danger.

If brains were enough to be successful, everybody that trades would be a millionaire; how come their not?

What have I repeatedly said about the main priority of the trading algorithms? The Number 1 goal of any algorithm should be to keep you out of trouble, and after that make you money. [Sadly, most of the algorithms (trading plans) made available to the retail public have the priorities reversed] Danger of account destruction avoided.

Pure and simple; Fear is the result of not being able to trust or follow an algorithm. You defeat fear in 3 steps; 1) acquaint yourself with the algorithms and the MT4 demo account functions, 2) trade the play money exactly like you would if it was real, and 3) start your real trading with a relatively meaningless amount of money [whatever that amount is for you] that in the worst case scenario isn’t going to change your lifestyle one whit.

Who do I trust? Are you kiddin’ me? Easy.

                                          Exactly: I Trust Me

I don’t want, nor do I ever expect, anybody to “trust me”. You got eyes and you got a brain [well, most of you]; use them. I have given you all the tools necessary for success, as well as access to me. Whether you do things yourself, or you have your funds managed, YOU are always in complete 100% control of your account, your money, and ultimately everything you want to do.

Back to the couple in question; they are going to 1) first open a demo account at Assets FX and trade EURJPY, with the “Long Term –vegas Big Bang Algorithm”, for the first quarter of 2014, 2) after that they will evaluate their success and open a real account to trade themselves with $1K, and also at that time have me manage $1K either with Assets FX or through a brokerage house at C2. Their total risk is $2K; they spend more than that on theatre tickets during the year.

The problem for them is solved; question is, can they follow directions and actually do it.

As we start 2014 trading in a few hours, for you Newbies, it’s time to get off your duff and do something.

Have a great day everyone.

MAKING GREAT SAUSAGE TAKES TIME

                                     Of Course I’m Organized

I’m almost done with one of the biggest projects I have undertaken in some time. I realized a few weeks ago that simply trading binary options, and ignoring spot Forex trading, might make you a one-trick pony.

The binary options algorithm is finished, and I am expanding the file to include the latest upgrade for Forex trading, The “-vegas Big Bang Algorithm”. In addition, there are other sections of the file that touch on important trading issues.

In sum, the entire file is going to be called “-vegas For Life”.

I care not your trading experience, or level of trading sophistication. Complete newbies can be up and running quickly. Those of you that have been trading will pick it up a little quicker, but what you will learn will change your life.

August is quickly approaching, where most of Europe and the U.S. will be on vacation. Trading volatility will most likely go down a notch, especially the last 2 weeks of the month into Labor Day weekend in the U.S.

This gives you a perfect time frame to research “-vegas For Life”. One of the most valuable aspects of the MT4 trading platform is the ability to go back in time via multiple time frames and see for yourself the power of both the binary options algo and the Forex algo respectively. If you don’t have the MT4 trading platform, I show you how to get the demo for free practice trading.

                                      The Ultimate Authority

Hey, don’t take my word for it. See for yourself. When the file becomes available, download it, read it, study it, critically think about it, get it up and running, and then implement it. When you feel comfortable trading real funds, then go for it.

Whether you want to become a professional trader or not, I’M GONNA MAKE YOU ONE. The only question will be when you make the switch.

Patient Bear Gets All The Honey

So, be patient while I get this behemoth finished: you will be amply rewarded. Look for the download between now and the first few days of August.

Have a good day everyone.

WHY DOES ANYBODY TRUST THE U.S.?

                               What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

Well well, while I was away snorkeling in the snow cliff diving, a funny thing happened to investors all over the world who again like idiots simply don’t seem to ever learn a lesson.

I am of course referring to the liquidation bankruptcy of PFG Best. Let’s see, $400 million in missing segregated customer funds held at JPM; Gosh, we ain’t ever seen that before; errrrrr except with REFCO, MF Global, and now PFG. Give it a little time and I’m sure the CME thugs will have had their grimy hands in it too.

And prey pray tell, what do they all have in common? Why of course, they all happened in the U.S. You know, that bastion of regulatory zeal where every investor is protected; until they ain’t. From the folks who couldn’t catch a cold in a sniffle factory, we are of course being told that justice will prevail. Errrrr, someday; right after they find the missing  large $1.4 from MF Global.

Seriously, what does it take for people to start asking WTF?

How many times can you hit a dumb animal in the head with a baseball bat before it sees you coming and simply says “I don’t think so”? Once natch. Not so easy with humans, who will rationalize to their hearts content while their pockets are picked clean by regulators, banks like JPM, and the aforementioned world’s most disgusting exchange.

Do I have to say this again?

Why does anybody trade with a U.S. broker?

You dolts out there who continue to place your hard-earned money with crooks in the U.S. financial system; what’s it gonna take? Sorry, when they vaporize your funds AGAIN SOMEPLACE ELSE I refuse to feel sorry for you.

Is it just me thinking this, or do all the crash test dummies live in Amerika?

Of course, Chalky Soetero’s pals have their fingerprints all over this. And while I am positive he is getting a cut somewhere somehow, his pals should be cuffed and marched off to the rock pile. Instead, they’ll be off fund raising somewhere for Mom, apple pie, and the Chicago way.

What a screwed up country.

Have a good day everyone. Be back soon full time from hedonistic pleasure.

ENTER THE DRAGON

                                         This Guy HAD IT!!

Did anybody ever really want to mess with Bruce Lee? And how do you think he got that way? What was it that made him so beloved among martial arts aficionados?

Hide The Children, This Could Get Ugly

Without discipline, do you think Bruce Lee could have ever been trusted to be effective in kicking just about everybody’s ass? On his occasional day off, he did more than most people do in a week.

Microcosm Of Society In 900 Square Feet

You got your “haves” and then there are the “have nots”. There are good traders, and the not so good. You have people who can be trusted to trade with, and then there are those you stay away from. One thing each person in a pit had though was discipline. No matter their own individual style of trading, without discipline they wouldn’t survive.

Mind Over Matter: If You Don’t Mind, It Doesn’t Matter

Can you do it, or is that itch to trade becoming insufferable?

Those fortunate people who started trading “The Vegas BFSG Algorithm” over a month ago are now starting to reap the benefits of disciplined, structured, and most importantly PROFITABLE trading. Why not join them?

When they enter a room, to fire up that computer to trade, they ENTER AS DRAGONS !!

Today’s Action & Weekly Wrap Up

We started the day in “buy mode” and had our first buy signal at 12:25 AM [Chicago time] at 1587. Within the hour, we had a confirmation top [discussed in the manual and Appendix IV] at 1592.50. Net gain on this trade, and for the day, of $ 5.50 / oz.

Any time, after the signals give confirmation, I am up more than $ 5.00 / oz for the day, it is time to quit and go live life. I can’t stress this heavily enough. You simply can’t be greedy when it comes to trading. From a prior post, you all know what $ 1.50 means, so being more than 3X this is something not to sneeze at. What’s the alternative? You get to work a corporate job for a living: who the hell wants that?

                                         Friend Of Skeptic Cat

Since it’s Friday, and I know doing this will get under your skin, I’m going to knock off the $0.50 from the day’s total and for reporting the algorithm’s performance I’m going with $ 5.00 / oz. for the day. I like nice clean numbers, and since this will annoy you Skeptic Dog, it’s good enough for me.

Ka-Chingggggggggggggg [yet again Skeptic Cat & Skeptic Dog]
