You think because you have a college degree, are relatively successful in other businesses, and can maybe even successfully manage other people, that trading should be a breeze. You’re smart and successful, so what happens?
You buy into the hype about traders and the trader life, and you can see yourself being the crazed trader, arms hurling all over, just making a killing . You are living on the edge; living the dream like a pro athlete. No guts, no glory.
Only one problem.
You can’t walk away. You have to go for every squiggle the market entices you with, no matter the consequences.
There are times, during the day or even during the week that you have to sit.
